We arrived at the Black Swan late Saturday evening

Group members and seven invited guests, five of which had never experienced a paranormal investigation such as this. Also joining for the evening was Pam (land lady) and her son Chris who was also keen to experience the paranormal phenomena in this hotel
After taking base readings and setting up equipment. It was decided that we should all stay together as one group.

Cellar

First impressions were very encouraging as we were getting positive responses to questions while down in the cellar. Such as taps and what could only be described as small light stones being thrown about the cellar

Dining Room

In the dinning room we had some response through the glass, as it was moving in response to questions. It would at the time seem that whoever was responding did not like men around. When only ladies were touching the glass it had a stronger side to it. This was all to come clearer as the night wore on.

We also had good responses while using the divining rods in each of the rooms

Bar Room

In the bar area we held another séance. First of all there were two of our men at the table the glass did move a little, but knowing one of the spirits "Jack" maybe behind a lot of the goings on as they were mainly around the ladies (he hates ladies) we asked the men to remove there fingers from the glass and sure enough we were getting a very good response with very positive replies. Jack wanted to communicate through one particular member of our group, Clair. But Clair rightfully declined the invitation.

Back down in the Cellar

We later went back down the cellar for the final vigil which I was a bit reluctant to do as I had a really bad feeling things were going to kick off with Jack and I really felt his nasty character around us. We hadn't been into the séance long when I started to feel sick and I also had very strong palpitations of the heart, Clair was also feeling unwell, I found myself starting to perspire and that was it, I couldn't stay down there anymore Clair neither so we retreated to the bar upstairs. I said to Clair that I felt Jack was picking us out one by one, sure enough another lady came back up with us feeling the same as us, then again until the vigil was called to a halt, but once again only ladies experienced any of these feelings.

My opinion on Jack is that he was a nasty man who only picked on the venerable, which in his day were women and children and that in male company he was just a nobody who may have been bullied and not necessarily taken seriously, who wanted status which he never really got because he was nothing more than a common thief.

Who would have thought in this day and age of woman's rights he could still intimidate women.
Sorry went on a bit but I felt very strong about this investigation more so then any others we have done because he was a really nasty character.

An experience we won’t forget for a long time. It’s frightening and scary. We never expected to experience the paranormal in this way. To physically feel the power of spirits or energy’s, the things you can’t see, yet you sense it or feel it, is mind blowing.

We enjoyed every scary minute there.
